Peter was excited when he found out that he was granted a "hunt of a lifetime." Elk was his chosen animal, and Tennessee was the elected hunting ground. On September 11, 2022, he was able to place a new perfect shot at 100 yards, despite his lack of strength and being disabled from the abdomen down. He successfully harvested a Gx7 Bull Elk. Peter was in "awe" for quite some time after the hint and kept saying it feels so surreal. It was an amazing experience.
Peter lost his battle with cancer, and received his Angel Wings on September 27, 2022, only 16 days after the hunt. Knowing that he put all the energy he had left into this hunt, his hunt makes me a proud dad. It also shows that your sponsorship creates memories for a lifetime, even after the passing of a loved one.
I am writing this with tears of joy, as I look back to an amazing hunting experience with my son because of your involvement with Hunt Of A Lifetime.
